    I can't find vindictus.exe file after patch

I used to run this game from vindictus.exe file instead of using one on website.

After, downloaded the patch, Norton detected .exe file as virus or removed file.

    I can't find vindictus.exe in en-US file anymore.

Has nexon changed the file name or relocated to another place?

    No.

Your antivirus loves you, so it deleted the .exe for ya.

vindictus.exe was removed by your antivirus program. Check the program and see if you can restore. If it can't be restored, you will have to redownload. Mark vindictus.exe as no longer a threat before your antivirus program automatically removes the second time after updating the game.

Wait.. Now, even Norton is detecting vindictus as a virus? At first it was only AVG so many assumed AVG was incorrectly flagging it as a virus. Nexon said they would contact AVG to have it cleared up, and it's been months. If the most recent AVG definition is still flagging it as a virus and now OTHER ANTI-VIRUS programs such as Norton is also detecting it as a threat, then doesn't that mean SOMETHING fishy is going on?

From what I can find on google, Win32/Virut is a malware that allows a remote hacker to access your computer.

Win32/Virut is a family of file infecting viruses that target and infect .EXE and .SCR files accessed on infected systems. Win32/Virut also opens a backdoor by connecting to an IRC server, allowing a remote attacker to download and run files on the infected computer.

How do you mark the EXE file to no longer be a threat?

I use Norton 360 & my Vindictus .exe is still there.
It even did an idle scan not too long ago.

Oh man. I jinxed myself. Norton 360 viewed it as a threat after I finished patching. |:
