Battle Mandolin: Artisan Upgrades?

So, the Battle Mandolin has an Artisan Upgrade, and a good one at that, but I wonder if there is any maximum to it.

So far, my boyfriend has a roll with +38 Max Damage, and has seen someone else with a +8 Music Buff roll.

Though if I remember correctly, MWW statsed that it was like 15-25 Max Damage and/or 4-7 Music Buff bonus.

So now to the point of discussion:

What rolls have YOU got on your Battle Mandolin? (If you did Artisan)

Mine had a crappy roll.
I was sad to get 0 music buff.
Okay damage, but not near the max I saw listed.

iirc the 15-25 max and 4-7 music buff was the lyres artisen

Isn't there an upgrade that gives +7 Music Buff anyway? Why go for damage at all? Mandolins should definitely NOT be anyone's main damage method, even if you plan to slip in an occasional Dischord, it should only be for the effect or for chaining... It's as effective as smashing with a dagger...
